Hubsan Spy Hawk Video Camera

This is a Spy Hawk RTF with First Person View (FPV) aircraft made by Hubsan. The Spy Hawk features a 5 mp camera that makes live color video and transmits it to a 3.5" LCD monitor on control pad. This version of the Spy Hawk also includes an Autopilot that will bring the aircraft back to you in case of losing control.

The Spy Hawk basic setup is a complete RTF airplane with camera installed. It also includes Hubsan's controller with video screen. Autopilot system is optional and you may prefer not to have it.

Propulsion of the hawk comes from a brushless electric motor. This park-flyer sized EPO aircraft is easy to fly and assemble and is supplied with 4-channel control. Just connect the wings to the body, glue on the tail, charge the batteries and you’re ready to spy from a bird eye.

TX digital station display can be programmed for two types of management: beginner and expert. Within each of these types, it can be programmed different values of sensitivity for each channel, roll, elevator and rudder. From 0% to 100% in each mode, allow you to adjust the response sensitivity of the controller to your personal taste, and your level of experience.

Apple iTV Coming Soon

The rumors about Apple introducing its very own TV set has been circling around for some time now, but as yet, nothing has been official about its release. However, according to an investment analyst, Apple might be very near to its launch. Based on the fact that a cable company in the US has been investigating how much extra bandwidth Apple's TV set would, the experts believe that Apple has finally getting the idea of its TV set in motion.

An American multi system operator (MSO) has been working on the issue to meet Apple's broadband data network. As with other Apple products, the TV set will be called an iTV. Experts further believe that unlike other Apple products, iTV might be the one facing the hardest challenges. The main element will be about its content delivery, because already a lot of innovative television sets are out there.

Apple can attract customers for its design and user interface, but the main testing aspect will really be its offer as a television set and how it differs from other products in the market. Apple likes to do experiments with technology and internet, an iTV will be a good introduction for the world to a trendy and fashionable Smart TV – something that Apple’s brand name brings along it.

But what kind of content will a Smart TV offer is still a little stretch of imagination. However, it will be better for Apple to release its first ever iTV when it has covered the issue of content deliver in a smart way, rather than introduce one based on its innovative design.

Steve Jobs Hi-Tech Yacht

Steve Jobs 250-foot yacht has been unveiled off The Netherlands in the city of Aalsmeer. Designed by Philippe Starck, Venus, as the boat is named, is 70 to 80 meters (about 230 to 260 feet) long with an aluminum exterior and 10-foot high windows.

According to Dutch blog One More Thing, there is a large sun terrace with a Jacuzzi on the foredeck and a series of 27-inch iMacs in the wheelhouse.

The blog says the Jobs family gave the crew who helped build the boat iPod Shuffles with the name of the boat etched into the back and a note thanking them for their hard work and craftsmanship.

Aakash 2 Tablet PC Launched In India

Aakash 2 is the advanced version of low cost Tablet PC Aakash, was launched by Indian President Pranab Mukherjee. Coming at a price tag of Indian Rs 1,130 for students, the new version Aakash 2, which will be made available to students of engineering colleges and universities to begin with, is now powered by a processor running at 1 GHz, has a 512 MB, a 7 inch capacitative touch screen and a battery working for three hours of normal operations.

The new Aakash 2 tablet comes engineered with a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor, while the original Aaaksh tablet was powered by a 366 MHz processor. The Aakash 2 tablet has a a 7-inch capacitive display with four multi-touch points. The screen has a resolution of 800×480 pixels. The previous version of Aakash had a 7-inch resistive touch screen.

Besides, the upgraded Aakash runs Android 4.0 operating system, whereas its predecessor had Android 2.2 OS. The Aakash 2 sports a front-facing VGA camera, and has built in Wi-Fi connectivity. The new tablet has 512 MB RAM and internal memory of 4GB, which is expandable up to 32GB using a micro SD card. The tablet is said to offer around four hours of battery time.

The commercial version of the Aakash 2 unit is branded as UbiSlate 7Ci, and is available for purchase on DataWind's website at Rs 4,499.

BMW Thermaltake Level 10 M - Gaming Mouse

BMW Thermaltake Level 10 M Gaming Mouse features a height and angle adjustable body as well as perforated palm surface to alleviate sweaty hands. The Level 10 M features five programmable buttons and a "Z-key" for on-the-fly gaming profile swapping.

The unit is equipped with a defaulted 5,000 DPI sensor but is capable of reaching up to 8,200 DPI with some tweaking. While the first photo seems to be the official press photo from BMW, Thermaltake's photos reveal a slightly differing design with a number of color options.

World's Most Powerful Supercomputer - ORNL Titan

Titan, the world's most powerful supercomputer was introduced by the U.S. Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). It is cooled by water circuits going round, almost the size of a basketball court and with power which can run a small town. With this mechanism Titan is capable of 20 petaflops or 20,000 trillion calculations per second. Due to this, Titan has become almost 10 times more efficient than ORNL's previous supercomputer, called Jaguar.

It is almost 20 trillion times more powerful than an average PC. In future, we can expect more powerful supercomputers than Titan itself. It has 18,688 nodes, 16-core AMD Opteron 6274 processor and an NVIDIA Tesla K20 graphics processing unit (GPU) accelerator and a memory of 700 terabytes. All this might be understandable for a science or a computer geek, but a lay person, it just means that a supercomputer has been made with a capability more than is required by this world. Supercomputers also take a lot of energy and consume enormous power.

However, Titan uses both GPUs and CPUs in a single system which reduces its carbon footprints and requires less power. With the help of this supercomputer, scientists will be able to undertake research projects in energy, climate change, materials and other scientific innovations with the use of the computer power.

A supercomputer is essential for highly detailed simulations which scientists require and want it done in a quicker time. Experts believe that GPU technology will be introduced in consumer graphic cards in the near future. With the huge climate changes and climate related disasters occurring more, like the recent Hurricane Sandy in the U.S., scientists need supercomputer to help mankind.
